Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using WowPhoto ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Who can use the App
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to use a mobile app without parental consent) to use WowPhoto.
3. The service
WowPhoto restores old, damaged, or faded photographs. You upload a photo, the App produces a restored version, and you can save the result to your device.
4. Your account
WowPhoto uses anonymous accounts only. We do not ask for an email, password, or any social-network sign-in. The App generates a random identifier on first launch and stores it in your device's secure storage so that you can keep your history across app launches and reinstalls.
If you delete your history and uninstall the App, your account is effectively gone — there is nothing else linked to you on our side. See the Privacy Policy for retention details.
5. Your photos and content
- You keep all rights to the photos you upload and to the restored versions the App creates.
- By uploading a photo, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to process the photo solely to produce the restoration and store it for you in your history.
- We do not use your photos to train any models.
- We send your photos to our processing partner (Runware) for the sole purpose of restoring them. Runware does not receive any identifier linking the photo to you.
- You are responsible for the photos you upload. You may not upload photos that you do not have the right to use, or photos that violate the Acceptable Use rules below.
6. Restoration results
Restoration is automated and the results vary. We do not guarantee any specific quality, accuracy, or resemblance to the original. You can use, share, or delete the restored versions as you wish.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Upload content that is illegal, abusive, defamatory, or that infringes anyone's rights
- Upload content depicting minors in a sexual or otherwise inappropriate context
- Use the App to harass, threaten, or impersonate any person
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent the App's security or rate limits
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the service or its outputs
- Submit content that our processing partner's safety filters reject; their decisions are not under our control
We may suspend access for any user who violates these rules.
8. Credits, free quota, and purchases
The App uses a credit-based system: each photo restoration costs one credit. When you start a restoration, credits are spent in this order: subscription → credit packs → free quota.
8.1 Free quota
Every new device receives 1 free restoration. The free credit is one-time and does not regenerate.
8.2 One-time credit packs
You can buy additional credits as one-time purchases through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). The packs available, their prices, and their credit amounts are shown inside the App. Credits from one-time purchases do not expire.
While you have an active Restore Pro subscription, the App offers an additional set of credit packs at a reduced per-credit price ("Pro packs"). Credits from a Pro pack you've already purchased remain on your balance even if your subscription later ends.
8.3 Restore Pro subscriptions
Restore Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that grants you a set number of restoration credits at the start of each billing period. Two plans are offered:
- Weekly — billed weekly, grants 30 credits per week.
- Yearly — billed annually, grants 250 credits per year. The yearly plan may include an introductory price for the first billing period; the introductory price and the standard renewal price are clearly shown before purchase.
Pricing snapshot (as of April 27, 2026):
- Restore Pro Weekly — $5.99 USD per week.
- Restore Pro Yearly — $59.99 USD per year, with an introductory price of $29.99 USD for the first year for new subscribers.
Current prices, local-currency equivalents, and any promotional offers are always shown in the App before you confirm the purchase. We may change prices in the future and will notify you in the App.
How subscription credits work:
- A fresh batch of credits is granted at the start of each billing period.
- Unused credits do not roll over — at renewal, the balance is reset to the new period's allocation.
- One-time pack credits and free-quota credits remain unaffected by subscription renewals.
Auto-renewal (required disclosure):
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period at the standard rate unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- If an introductory or promotional price applies, it is charged only for the introductory period; subsequent periods are billed at the standard rate.
Manage or cancel your subscription:
- iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Restore Pro.
- Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Restore Pro.
We do not have the ability to cancel your subscription on your behalf.
8.4 Payment processing
All purchases are billed and processed by Apple or Google. We do not see, store, or process your payment card or billing details.
9. Refunds and cancellations
- Refunds for purchases are handled by Apple App Store and Google Play under their respective policies. We do not issue our own refunds.
- If a refund is issued by the platform, we will adjust your remaining credit balance to reflect it. Credits already spent on completed restorations cannot be reversed.
- Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals; you keep access to the current period's remaining credits until the period ends, after which the subscription's credits are no longer available.
- You can cancel a restoration that is still queued from inside the App; in that case the credit is automatically refunded to its original source. Once a restoration has started processing it cannot be cancelled.
10. Notifications
If you opt in to push notifications, we may send you a notification when a restoration is finished. You can turn notifications off at any time in the App's settings or in your device's system settings.
11. Service availability and changes
We work to keep the App running smoothly but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Where reasonable, we will tell you in advance through the App.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. You can delete your data via Settings → Clear history and then uninstall the App. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
13. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WowPhoto and its providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising out of your use of the App. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which WowPhoto operates, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to bring any dispute exclusively in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If the change is significant, we will notify you in the App. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the new Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
